Heather Ramey Haley, MD

Board-Certified Dermatologist


 

Dr. Heather Haley is a board-certified dermatologist. She specializes in skin cancer prevention and treatment, as well as minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. She is experienced in surgical and non-surgical skin-cancer therapies, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of skin abnormalities, including rosacea and acne.

Because of her extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, patients seek her advice and treatment on a variety of anti-aging procedures. Dr. Haley specializes in Botox Cosmetic, dermal fillers, and care of sun damaged skin. Patients enjoy the extra time she spends on counseling and educating them about their options.

Dr. Haley was born and raised in Waynesboro, MS. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1992 with a BS in Microbiology. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and numerous academic honorary organizations.

She received her MD from The University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham in 1998. Dr. Haley finished in the top 20 of her medical school class and was of member of the AOA Medical Honor Society. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2003. After residency, she moved to Fairhope to open Haley Dermatology in October 2003. Dr. Haley is married to her husband, Chris, and has 3 children.

She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons.

 
 

Laura Cepeda, MD

Board-Certified Dermatologist

 
 

Laura Tucker Cepeda, M.D. was raised in Fairhope, Alabama. She is a graduate of the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science and Auburn University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Industrial and Systems Engineering. During her time at Auburn she was a member of the Honors Program, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society, Alpha Pi Mu ISE Honor Society, Pi Beta Phi social sorority, and received numerous scholarships.

Dr. Cepeda attended The University of South Alabama College Of Medicine where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After graduating from medical school she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.

In 2004, Dr. Cepeda and her husband moved to New York for her dermatology residency and his pediatric residency. She received her board certification in dermatology after graduating in 2007 from the New York Medical College Dermatology Residency. She then spent a year completing a Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology fellowship at the State University of New York in Brooklyn.

Dr. Cepeda is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology,
American Medical Association, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Women's Dermatologic

Erin Bardin, M.D.

Erin Bardin, M.D. was raised in DeRidder, LA, a small town in southwestern Louisiana, and attended college at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.  She graduated summa cum laude in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science and was ranked first in the College of Science and Technology.  While at NSU, she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Blue Key National Honor Fraternity, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Mu Epsilon Delta, and enjoyed volunteering her time with organizations such as NSU tutors and Habitat for Humanity.

Dr. Bardin then left the small college community to attend LSU School of Medicine in ‘The Big Easy.’  As a LSU medical student in New Orleans, she continued to volunteer her time to projects such as the LSU Pediatric Homeless Clinic and served as the Volunteer Coordinator for LSU Women in Medicine.  After receiving her MD in 2007, she moved to Baton Rouge, La to complete an internal medicine residency at Earl K. Long Medical Center, a branch of the Louisiana Charity Hospital System.  She completed her internal medicine training and earned her board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2010.

Upon completion of her IM residency, Dr. Bardin immediately commenced her training with the LSU dermatology residency program.  During her three years of residency she gained experience in various aspects of dermatology, including general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and laser skin treatment, and was selected to serve as Chief of LSU Dermatology in her final year of residency.  She graduated from the program in June of 2013.

 

 
 

Erin E. Armstrong, PA-C

Physician Assistant

 
 

Erin Armstrong was raised throughout the United States and Europe as an “Army Brat”. She graduated from high school in Savannah, Georgia and went on to receive a BS in Biology from The University of Georgia. After graduating from UGA in 1998, she attended The University of South Alabama where she obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating at the top of her class.

Erin has worked in several specialties throughout her career, as a Physician Assistant, to include Asthma & Allergy, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine and Dermatology. Since joining Haley Dermatology Group, she has been a real asset. She is seeing patients in follow up for Dr. Haley and Dr. Cepeda. Our patients love her friendly bedside manner as well as her flexible schedule with very little wait time.

Erin lives in Lillian, Alabama with her husband Brian and their two sons.
